Hard to believe that we are now half way through my massage course.
So last week while I was away skiing, it had been the first week for Clients in college.
Needless to say they made sure I had a client this week 🙂
I was nervous but not about giving the massage as thanks mainly to Geoff I have had plenty of practice and just about know the routine off by heart now.
What I was nervous about was all the paper work and remembering the important things … like washing your hands…wiping there feet with surgical spirit before you begin…getting them to remove jewelry ,all the common sense things really.
Anyway it all went well , I was about 2mins short of the hour so that was really good and most importantly my client enjoyed it very much.
From next week they are opening up all 10 beds for clients as the demand has been so great, so that means we should all have a client every week.
Theory was on the Circulatory system, with exam next week 🙁 and pleased to say that my assignment was good enough to meet the criteria needed 🙂
Time to get some of my own paying clients soon….but before I do I need to change my consultation form because even though it was good enough to give me a pass on the course.I now realize it needs to be smaller and more compact, maybe in the form of a booklet.

Had my Clio delivered back to me yesterday.
Excellent service from Leeders once again, they said 3.30 and by the time I got home my car was sat on the drive with the guy waiting for me.
All I had ben worried about was not having time to wash the car but when I mentioned this they just laughed at me and said I should not worry as I should see the state some cars are returned in.
I signed a few bits of paper, he told me all work was guaranteed and what a lovely lady I was.
I cannot praise Leeders enough what a great company to deal with.I never once had to chase them up about anything if they said it was going to be done then it was.
As for my car well it looks all shiny and new, drives just like before although its now desperate for its front brakes to be done.
So I can look for my new car in my own time although I am sure its going to be the Peugeot 207 in Lacerta green, would truly love the alloy wheels but not sure if I should.

I really don’t know why I skied so much better this year than last.
I was more confident and not so scared but I think the real reason was the snow… it was so much better this year, not so icy and hard.
So home with no bruises 🙂 unlike last year.
If I am lucky enough to go next year I will treat myself to a nice orange ski jacket
as I just love the nice bright colors.
I did intend to wear my red walking jacket but the twice I went out in it I got mistaken for a ski rep as they wore Red !!!
Boys enjoyed the snowboarding ,the lesson was well worth the money but I was amazed at how tired they got.
Too much time sat in their room’s playing games on x box and PC and not enough exercise.
Maybe time to get Matthew down the Gym 🙂 especially if he’s going to join the Army.
Left Geoff in Les Gets till 15th Feb so lets hope he gets some more snow as they need it now 🙁 especially for when Mark and Emily go out.
On the slopes of Mont Chery

We woke to brilliant sunshine on our last skiing day in Les Gets.
So we decided to spend our last hours skiing/snowboarding on the red runs of Mont Chery .
I managed to ski from top to bottom with no falls , although I don’t pretend that I go very fast ,its still a great achievement for me.
It was so hot I swear you could have sun bathed in your bikini….
We had a great time although the boys were very tired by the end of the day.
Geoff treated me to a meal out on our last night together, a treat for valentines as he will still be away. It was great to spend some time alone with him.
We both had a Tartiflette a typical french dish, recipe can be found here.
We then went for a drink at the Golden Lion… a pub ran by Jim which had just opened that week-end 🙂
A very enjoyable evening and a great way to end my holiday.
