Looking to the Future…

I have had conformation now and I start my massage course on 12th of September.

Today the books came that I need for the course,

Anatomy and Physiology for nurses and Anatomy and Physiology for Therapists.

Tonight I have put an order in for my uniform too.

All I have to do now is get my massage kit and all the stationery I need, seems like I will be doing a lot of writing on this course as well as massage.

Feeling very excited about all of this and looking forward to it very much.

Also looking forward to practicing  on Geoff too…….

A day free from stress

My mum and dad came to visit today and brought my young nephew too, they came to see how I was bearing up under the stress .

We went to Swaffham for a fish and chip lunch at Mother Hubbards , the fish and chip restaurant where my son works.

He has worked there since he was 16 and now works there full time. Walking 3 miles every day so he can catch a bus  8 miles into Swaffham.images

Have to agree with knifepainter here , the best fish and chips are from Norfolk.

We then played cards in the afternoon and had a laugh, and  I was able to forget the troubles we have at the moment.

Feeling stronger again now and realize I must at least try and fight these people who are trying to take away what is rightfully my boys.

Off to the gym now to burn off some of those fish and chips…..

Madness in the river.

OLIVES AND RIVER 009_thumb As most of you will know I enjoy a swim in the river Cam most week-ends with Geoff and Caroline.

This weekend was no exception, got to Cambridge around 6pm and was swimming in the Cam by 6.30pm.

Swam about a mile which took us about half an hour.

Little did I know at the time that we could find ourselves being arrested under section 136 of the mental health act.

Maybe most people think we are mad anyway…. especially when we swim in the nude,when its safe too. BUT you should not knock it till you have tried it.

Post Secret

I find the Post secret blog very sad as all the cards are true and from real people.
So many sad and unhappy people in the world.
You never know whats going on in other peoples minds.
Why don’t you take a look sure it will make you realize how lucky you are

Back to work….

Very hard going back to work today so much sympathy and kindness.

Makes you realize how many good people there are in this world.cake 020

If only some one could come and deal with all this paper work I have, some of which I don’t even understand.

Not too worry it will get sorted in the end, we have dealt with sadness before and it made us strong, we will deal with it again and it will make us stronger.

Back home….

After a very emotional and draining Funeral in Romiley  near Manchester.

My boys were fantastic , Matthew even managed to get up and say a little speech all about his dad, Andrew dealt with it in his own way but they are boys to be proud off.

For me it was a very hard, emotional day but I think I dealt with it well and would like to say Thank you to all those people that showed me and my boys great kindness in our time of sadness.

I now have a lot to deal with over the coming weeks/months and I hope I can deal with it quickly and painlessly, although I doubt it will be painless for me.

A big Thank you must go to Geoff who drove us up to Manchester and collected us after the funeral, it was a big help, we loved the tour round  Creswell  his home town, and the Boys enjoyed staying in Cambridge ,was like a little holiday for them.

I spent the rest of the week-end swimming and sunbathing, recharging my batteries ready for the coming weeks.

Must say I do get sun burnt in the most strange places……

I see James has been blogging about the lack of visitors from blogpower people so I really must try and get round to visiting them all some time this week.

I also see lady M  has awarded me the Thoughtful Blogger Award, which is most kind of her.

Meet Adam…

This is Adam, the nude that lives on Geoff’s landing.

He is gorgeous and I just have to stroke him every time I pass.

 

Will be away now for a few days but on my return I will catch up with all my blog reading….so be watching out for me.
