Another sad day

Now at Isham with my parents. Waiting to go to nat’s funeral. Nat was my brothers partner. No wifi for lap top so just hanging around waiting for this sad day to be over. Will fill the time reading sex in a tent book.

Time for a change..

Today I had myself booked in with the gym instructor to update my gym program .

As usual I had become bored with the weight training machines and was doing an hour of cardio then coming home.

I know you achieve nothing by getting stuck in a rut….

The gym instructor I had certainly knew her stuff and how to motivate me.

I now have a little circuit program.gym ball

!5 min’s cardio followed by weights then 15 min’s cardio followed by weights and so on…

Using mainly free weights and the gym ball, this time it also includes squats and lunges, if I am going skiing in January I have to build theses muscles up.

It includes exercises I can easily do at home and at Geoff’s using his gym ball.

I also got my hands slapped as I never cool down or stretch, something that I know is real important especially as you get older.

The other bit of advice I was given was to find a gym buddy as this always makes it easier to train… but this has been an impossible task for me  🙁

This evening I must have used all the muscles I am struggling to learn for my massage course, maybe if I thought of them in terms of weight training I would find it easier…

Playing around…..

Geoff deep in concentration… trying to work out how to use his iphone…
one moment he loves it the next he hates it.( a bit like the relationship he has with his mac )
I think its just a case of getting used to it.
Maybe he will blog about what he thinks is good on the iphone and what its downfalls are too.
Will make an interesting read i am sure.

Geoff’s new toy..

While out shopping today we could not resist going to have a look at the new iphone.I phone 001

I think Geoff was trying to avoid the 02 shop but I insisted we went and had a look.  

To my surprise I liked it straight away, maybe the most coolest phone I have ever seen.

I loved the scrolling screen and the ease of the touch screen keypad.

With in minutes Geoff was buying one and its all my fault 🙂

Back of the body

Update on my massage course..

We have now covered the arms, neck and chest, stomach , front of legs and back of legs.

I can almost do the whole routine from memory,and its getting better every week.

next week is the fun week when we cover the bottom before moving onto th250px-Sternocleidomastoideuse back.

Just as I know the whole routine Geoff will be off to Dubai so I will have to find someone else to practice on during December.

I will have to keep practicing as in January we open our doors as a salon and will  be giving massages to the public… well those that dare to come and book a massage.

On the theory side we are now covering muscles…this is much harder than the Bones…with names like Sternocleidomastiod I have trouble pronouncing  them let alone remembering what they do and where they are in the body.

BUT I will learn them and I will pass the theory because I am just loving this course.

I have had my turn with Steven.. the 19 year old life guard ,now its time to let the other girls have there turn with him  🙂

Tesco promoting Evil….

That was the headline in the local newspaper.

After a church leader accused the store at Downham Market of “promoting evil and misguiding children by allowing staff to dress up as witches and devils at Halloween”.

All this was done in good fun to raise money for our charity of the year “The Red Cross “

The newspaper is running a vote…

Today’s Vote
