That’s what Norwich Union deserve after the excellent service I have received from them, after my lucky escape

Although the real stars are Tears recovery service from Sutton bridge and the repairing Garage,Leeders of North Elmham.

Leeders delivered my courtesy car to my work before they had even received my car.

I was totally over whelmed by there brilliant service.

Which is more than I can say about Renault.

Who were complete time wasters and could have lost me my courtesy car if I had believed them about getting my a hire car.

Needless to say they have now lost my custom and I wont be buying a new Clio in the new year after all.

Top of my list now is the Volkswagen  polo and the Peugeot 206.

So now I am over the shock and the stress all is well again in my house.

Just when you think all is going well and your so organized, something happens to make you realize your never far from trouble…

Today while driving home from work, my car bonnet blew up and smashed the windscreen of my car.

It gave me such a shock, in fact I think I am only just beginning to realize just how lucky I was.

My car insurance people were very helpful and had a recovery wagon out to me with in an hour.

While waiting for this recovery wagon what amazed me most was the total un patience of other drivers.They speeded past flashing their lights and sounding there horns which just made my situation even worse.

Even more amazing was that a police car even went passed and made no attempt to stop and see if I was ok….. says a lot about our police force today !!

The driver of the recovery wagon , which came from Tears Recovery in Sutton Bridge,was fantastic and went out of his way to drop me at home, which was much appreciated as how I would have got home I don’t know.

After spending over an hour trying to sort out the insurance procedure and how I got my courtesy car, which I desperately need living where I live.

This article was bought to my attention.

The situation then changed and I got very angry thinking that Renault knew about this fault and I had never been informed.

Needless to say Renault now want my car so they can asses the situation, I only agreed to let them have it when they said they would pay for me to have a hire car

They will have to act fast though if they want it, as the holding garage is due to take my car to the repair garage first thing in the morning.Which they have to do before they will let me have a courtesy car.

I will not be able to relax now till I have some car keys in my hand.

Having no car all ready means….

I was unable to collect my son from his friends house, luckily they understood and are keeping him for another night and will then return him home.

I was also unable to collect my other son from work, so he had too beg for a lift home.

I have also had to book a taxi to get me to work tomorrow at a cost of £20, how I will get home I am not quite sure.

In the new year I am going to change my car and I was really thinking about having another Renault Clio  but this incident could change my mind.

Please keep fingers and toes crossed that a miracle happens tomorrow and I end up with a car… any car will do.

If I don’t it could well ruin my  Christmas. 🙁

Is the key to a stress free Christmas, I know that and you know that so why do we get so stressed every year.

I hate starting Christmas shopping too early, I leave it till I start to stress then I get it sorted.

I make mental notes of what to buy my loved ones, I enjoy buying them things they have mentioned over the months then hopefully forgotten about.

All my gifts are now wrapped,the tree is up, my college test was passed tonight, my assignment is started,  all is going well.

I will ice my cake on Friday, make the mince pies too,  collect the turkey on Saturday, then travel up to Cambridge. 

Just the food shopping to do….

I finally feel like I have it sorted, time to relax and enjoy, if only I could find my nut roast recipe….

After months of not being able to have a shower I am now the proud owner of a great working power shower.

I feel so clean its un-real, squeaky clean in fact.

It cost me a small fortune to get it fitted but will be worth every penny.

Many many thanks to Larry Kirk who fitted it for me. I am sure he thinks I am a bit mad……

Trouble is like always as you get one job sorted another needs doing, all my seal has now come away from my bath.

A job I think I am capable of doing myself….. if only I could find the key to the shed….I know who had it last and it wasn’t me  ?? 

I have no excuse now not to go jogging…. but will wait till the new year to start again   🙂

I would have liked both of them but could only have one… it was a very hard choice but I decided on the bigger of the two paintings.

So the top one now hangs on my bedroom wall opposite my bed and looks fantastic….

Today after months of waiting I finally took myself and my friend Dorothy off to Mundesley.

The reason for going was to visit Knifepainter in his new studio.

It was well worth the wait and the 100 mile round trip.

His paintings are even better in real life…..

I especially like his nude oil paintings and this collection in  particular

He only had two paintings left from this collection, both ones I liked , and there was two other smaller paintings I  also liked.

So deciding which one to have was almost an impossible task, they would all look fantastic in my bedroom.

In the end I decided on one from the collection that I had first seen on line.

See if any of you can guess which one I now have hanging on my bedroom wall. ????

He even signed the back “to sally in Norfolk love and best wishes Knifepainter” which I thought was rather cool.

So If your ever up the Norfolk Coast its well worth a visit to Mundesley, you can find Knifepainter( Sam Robbins ) in the high street at the C1 shop, open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm.

He gives a good blogger’s discount too 🙂 and its worth a visit just to meet him !!
