Case studies…

My Indian head massage course at the college in Kings Lynn is going well.

I am really enjoying the massage but the course is not so nice as the Swedish body massage course.

In my opinion it needs to be a longer course which would make it more relaxing and enjoyable.head

I feel everything is done in a rush….. which does not suit my character.

We have now started on our 3 case studies…. of course I used Geoff for one and he gave me some great feed back.

Next we had to pick someone from our class, I picked sally a girl I have worked with many times and who also did the body massage course with me.

After Christmas we have to do our last case study and hopefully I have someone lined up ready to do that.

I know the routine well, now I just have to slow it down and get the timing just right.

At this time of year I get very stressed but tonight’s massage has left me feeling very relaxed. 🙂

My Lips are sealed….

A memo came round work today.

It informed us that we are not allowed to discuss up and coming offers outimage side of work or on the Internet.

So if you want to know when the half price salmons are in for Christmas.

I am afraid I cannot tell you.

Exceptional cakes

Another cake recipe taken from the book Emily and Mark bought me last Christmas.

Knowing how much Geoff loves ginger I just had to make this cake for him…

Honey and spice cake

3cm piece of root ginger peeled.

125g runny honey

50g golden syrupcake

140g unsalted butter

50g dark brown soft sugar

2 eggs

40g rye flour

100g self raising flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground allspice.

Grate the ginger onto some muslin and squeeze the ginger juice into a bowl.

In a saucepan over low heat warm the honey, syrup, butter and sugar till hot and butter is melted.

Remove from heat and whisk using an electric mixer for 2 1/2 min’s then add eggs and ginger juice. whisk for another 2 1/2 min’s.

The mixture should have cooled lightened and thickened.

Sift the flours , baking powder and spices.

Fold dry ingredients into the honey mixture, which will be unusually wet.

pour into loaf tin and bake in centre of oven at 170 for 50 to 60 min’s.

Leave to cool in the tin.

I can tell you it smells divine and has a slightly sticky top but we shall have to wait till the week-end before Geoff can tell us what it tastes like 🙂

The perfect Christmas Gift…

Recently a local business man contacted me,to inquire about some massage gift vouchers.

Basically it works like this….he pays for a massage I send him a voucher, which he then gives to someone for a Christmas gift.

They then make an appointment with me and has a massage in the comfort of their own home, that is already paid for. untitled2

Now what better Christmas gift is there, it needs no looking after , no dusting, takes up no room and is pure pleasure.

Perfect as a gift for a couple that has every thing.

So if you live in the Downham market/Kings Lynn area and are looking for that perfect Christmas gift look no further……… I also work in Cambridge/Huntington Area at weekends

Ring or E-mail me for A Christmas massage gift voucher.

Mamma Mia was the most cheesy film I have ever seen, it was just awful.

Not a patch on Kill Point which I am just Loving.
