Chocolate muffins , irresistible and with less sugar and fat than standard chocolate cake.

Pour all wet ingredients into dry, and stir until combined, no dry flour should be visible.

Now enjoy !!!
Today I had an invitation to walk with The Simple Social ladies group.
They were doing the third leg of the Fen Rivers Way, which means they would hav
e walked from Cambridge to Kings Lynn, a total of 50 miles.
Today they did the 12 mile stretch from Downham Market to Kings Lynn. a most enjoyable walk along the river, past the ruins of Wiggenhall St Peter Church, and into King Lynn along th
e Green Quay.
At King’s Lynn, the Fen Rivers Way connects with the Wash Coast Path (through the Peter Scott Walk) taking walkers along the remote coast marshes into Lincolnshire, or the Nar Valley Way which leads you into the heart of Norfolk.
We ended the walk by going to Bradley’s wine bar for a well deserved Lunch.
A most enjoyable walk was had by all, Geoff made an excellent walk leader and thanks to Caroline for inviting me along.
The information from my pedometer was…..
12.6 miles
26,339 steps
1,377 cals
I see that a 33ft long and 990lb Giant Squid has been caught in the Antarctic waters.
I would most likely have found that easier to sell , instead of the 11 boxes of Herring Milts I had try and sell today, for those that don’t know herring Milts,
also known as soft roe, are in fact the male reproductive glands and their contents….. yes seminal fluid.
Why any one would want to eat them i do not know.I confess to buying them a few times, cooking them but have never been able to eat any, they smell and look disgusting and the texture is indescribable.
Best to stick to some of the other nice fish I sell , like Trout, Salmon, Monkfish and my favourite Seabass. I wonder if I could tempt the lobster who blogs?
Every year just a few miles away from where I live, a 70 acre field gets planted up with 51 million Tulips.
Its a
n incredible sight when they are all out in flower.
large sections ,all of one colour followed by another colour and another colour, like a huge rainbow .
You have to be quick if you want to see them because they are not grown for the flowers but for the Bulbs so they dead head the flowers.
Yesterday while out walking , we saw the fields all planted up , with plants covered for protection from bad weather and any last frosts I expect.
Later on in the year I will go back and take some photos when the Tulips are all out in Flower, it certainly will be worth coming back for a look.
I wonder how long it will be before Natural England close Dersingham Bog to the public.
Dersingham bog is a Nature reserve near Wolferton , and part of  the Sandringham estate. it covers almost 400 acres and is home to many ground nesting birds such as Lapwing, Stone chat, Linnet ,Woodlark, Nightjar, Meadow Pit and Shelduck.
As the reserve is now attracting more and more ground nesting birds they have put up
Signs urging visitors to keep dogs on a short lead and not to stray off the paths between February and September, as sadly the two don’t mix.
Natural England objected to a proposal for a path along the sea defense ,which would connect Kings Lynn to Hunstanton, along with the RSPB ,so given time I expect they will object to visitors at this Nature Reserve too.
