A new discovery

This week I was given a gift, a pot of virgin coconut oil.
I am not one for using lotions and potions but this oil is just divine.
A small amount rubbed onto your face at night leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky.
Virgin Coconut oil has many other health benefits too.
What you have to remember is that Virgin coconut oil is only liquid if it’s in an environment warmer than +25C, less than that and it solidifies.
So just get some of it and find a way to warm it up – e.g. if you just rub some in your hands, body temp being +37, it’ll turn into liquid in your hands.
Its made me think that this oil would be a wonderful one to use for an Indian Head Massage treatment.

Being indecisive .

I have fallen in love with this Mirror and now really regret not buying it.
I have been looking at it for a few weekends,so know that I really want it.
Now I am worried that it will be sold.
My thoughts were,if its still there at the end of the month then its meant to be mine.
Sometimes I hate being so indecisive, and I wish I had just bought it ๐Ÿ™

Bargain of the Week….

Unlike some people I know I don’t have many handbags or even shoes.
In fact I have just one handbag and use it day and night week after week.
This weekend though I treated myself to what Emily would call….. A Sally Bag !
It was a real bargain knocked down to just ten pounds ๐Ÿ™‚

Jam Making

I see my friend Anne has been out Blackberry picking.
Something Geoff and I do every year as I love to make Blackberry and Apple Jam.
This week though I was given some Plums so decided to make Plum and Apple Jam.
It made enough Jam to fill six nice jars and tastes divine.
Once I acquire more plums I shall be making more Jam.
I usually end up giving most of the second batch away to friends ๐Ÿ™‚

Looking for advice…

I have talked about changing my broadband supplier for years, mainly because other people think AOL are a bad company.
But I have had no problems with AOL since Jan 2009.
I now have the death certificate to get the account into my name, I just need to get round to writing that letter.
Lately I have been thinking about not actually changing from AOL as we dont really have any problems with the internet service they provide.
Why change something if it works.
Although I see sky do a good package with the tv included, which could actually save me some money.
Trouble is I cannot find anyone that has sky broadband so I am unsure if its a good supplier.
So the question is do any of my lovely readers use sky for broadband and if so what’s your opinion, better still do any of you have the tv and broadband deal.

If truth be known I amร‚ย  scared about changing my internet supplier then having lots and lots of problemsร‚ย  ๐Ÿ™

Second batch…

This time Raspberry Vodka.
Wonder who will be the lucky person that gets some as a Christmas gift.
No begging now ๐Ÿ™‚

Taken by surprise…

I had no Idea Pandammonium was taking this photo and I really like it.
Its a most un-usual photo of me as you cannot see me smiling.
I was actually talking away about something or other but believe me i was smiling:-)
