This year my cake looked too good to eat….

But that did not stop people from tucking in, and even if I say so myself it was truly delicious.

My Mince pies and Christmas muffins also went down very well too.

So nice to bake for people that appreciate home baking  🙂

Have you ever had a gift or card that’s so unique and made just for you that it makes you want to cry ??

Well I got just the card from Geoff.

Its a card made from a mosaic of photos.. all the photos are taken from days out , holidays and activities that we have done through the year.

It holds lots of happy memories, is worth more than all the money in the world and I will treasure it forever.

I had no idea he could be so romantic    🙂

The lyrics are from a song that was playing on DI.FM while he was making the card.

I also see he’s not the only one that’s been making cards either….

While I have the time I just wanted to wish all my lovely blog readers A Very Very Happy Christmas.

Well I have received my card from Blue at My True Colours, it is just beautiful and so well made.

A bit of fun at Christmas time and well enjoyed by all  🙂

I spent the afternoon cooking …

First I made a nice beef stew for the boys, recipe taken from my OXO cook book…

Then I made a vegetable and butter bean stew for Geoff, recipe taken from a new book, delicious casseroles…

Finally I roasted two Partridge for dinner, wrapping them in bacon to  keep them moist..

The reason I had the partridge, well a friend booked her husband in for a massage and they gave me 4 Partridge and a Pheasant as a  tip.

Amazingly today,almost a year after my lucky escape I received a Recorded Delivery  letter from Renault about the bonnet fault.

They say they have written to all Clio II owners previously and according to their data my Clio II has not been into a dealers to get checked.

This is the first letter I have ever received about this known fault and what a shame its a year too late .

A memo came round work today.

It informed us that we are not allowed to discuss up and coming offers out side of work or on the Internet. 

So if you want to know when the half price salmons are in for Christmas.

I am afraid I cannot tell you.

But have you no taste…

Mamma Mia was the most cheesy film I have ever seen, it was just awful.

Not a patch on Kill Point which I am just Loving.
