As you know last week I booked myself onto a 10 week beginners French course , starting on 15th September.
Well today I also booked myself a place on a 7 week introduction to yoga course, starting 16th September.
If I enjoy the yoga I will then be able to go to classes on a Monday or Wednesday evening.
Debra, who teaches the yoga, sounds like a very nice lady and assures me the yoga will complement my running and walking.

Bonjour !!
To get myself out the house I have enrolled on a 10 week beginners French class at the college in Kings Lynn.
I had thought about doing the Reflexology Course, to complement my Swedish massage and Indian head massage.
To my amazement neither of these courses are on offer this year, so I am so pleased I did the Indian head massage course last year.
This left me wondering what to do, especially as I get so lonely during the week.
It was then suggested I did a French course, my first reaction was to laugh, I hated languages at school.
Then I thought about it and as I go to the French Alps with Geoff at least twice a year,I decided why not give it ago π
What’s Sally picking now?
Today Geoff and I did a 17 mile circular walk from my house via Castle Acre.
We had delicious Tea and fruit cake at the Churchgate tea rooms in Castle Acre.
If you remember last year I blogged about the lack of sloes.
Well today I noticed there are plenty around this year.
So looks like I will be adding some Sloe Gin to my Raspberry Gin and Vodka collection.
To finish the day off I cooked Geoff a lovely dinner of trout served with home made Apple and TomatoΓΒ Chutney. Then I gave him an Indian head massage before he returned home on the train.
My collection of goodies
On our way to Clowne at the weekend we called in to see my mum and dad.
I left with 2 jars of home made picked onions and a huge Trout caught in the local reservoir.
In fact I have never seen such a huge trout , it weighs 3lb 5 oz and will feed me for the week π
When I left Clowne I had over 3lb of tomatoes and over 4lb of plums.
I was over the moon with these as now I can make some tomato Chutney.
More from my Garden
Today we visited Clowne for a 60th birthday party.
The last time we visited I was given a crown of Rhubarb for my garden.
As its done so well and needed pulling for the 3rd time this year, I took some Rhubarb Muffins with me π
A Week-end to remember
As you know i spent the week-end in Finland.
We flew to Tampere then travelled on to Vaasa.
It was great to see all of Geoff’s family together.
The christening was held over on Replot Island , to get to the Island you had to drive over the Longest bridge in Finland.
It was a beautiful wooden church painted a soft blue, the funny thing was that it was tilted to one side, which gave you the most funny feeling.
The christening service was lovely, some in Finish and some in English.
Baby Liam behaved perfectly.
I loved the finish tradition of taking the baptism water outside and throwing it over your shoulder.
Later in the Evening Joakim took us out on a boat trip where Geoff and I had a swim in The Kvarken Archipelago, This was wonderful as you know how much we both enjoy a swim.
After a family picnic on the Sunday it was time to head back, so Geoff and I took the train to Tampere, meeting the others at the airport.
Although I did not see much of Finland, I got the feeling I would really like it there with all the water, Islands, Trees and sauna’s.
Everyone told me that I would get bitten by the mosquitoes but I was lucky to escape with no bites at all
Going Awol…
Tomorrow straight after work I will be heading over to Cambridge.
After a quick shower and change we shall be off to Stansted to catch a flight to Finland.
Its a short trip, so we can go to Geoff’s grandsons christening.
We fly home Sunday evening.
I have decided that from tomorrow till Monday I will not be on the internet at all and this also means no twittering.
I just want to enjoy spending some time with Geoff ,now he is home from his mega bike ride.
Its maybe the last weekend I will get to spend with Emily too before she goes off to university.
Wishing you all a great weekend, back soon π
Being indecisive .
I have fallen in love with this Mirror and now really regret not buying it.
I have been looking at it for a few weekends,so know that I really want it.
Now I am worried that it will be sold.
My thoughts were,if its still there at the end of the month then its meant to be mine.
Sometimes I hate being so indecisive, and I wish I had just bought it π
