Looking for that special gift…..

Last week Paul got in touch with me to see about booking a massage for his daughter.

It was her 23rd birthday and he wanted a special gift for her.image

We arranged for me to go on friday and it worked out well, she was delighted with her gift and really enjoyed the massage too.

I was intrigued to hear how he found out about me and what made him book me.

His answer was simple he had Googled Norfolk massage and found me at number 4.

He also liked that I clearly state that this is not an erotic massage and includes no extras so he thought I must be a genuine person. 🙂

On the plus side for me, I met a lovely family and once they return from holiday the mother and father say they will book to have a massage too 🙂

So anyone in the Kings Lynn or Downham Market area looking for that special treat for that special person why not book them a massage. I can assure you they will love it !!

While Geoff’s away the girlies play….

While Geoff was walking to Oxford Anne was on her was from Oxford to stay with me in Cambridge.

In fact when Geoff rang me for some dry socks Anne was at her brothers in Haslingfield.

So I collected her on my way to Wimpole Hall, thanks to her brother, for helping me with directions 🙂

The rest of the Saturday we spent shopping, looking for shoes in particular, Anne now realises how hard it is for me to buy shoes. !!

Then after having a bottle of Geoff’s wine 🙂 we went off to Bella Pasta for dinner.blog 104

On Sunday we did our walk to the Orchard in Grantchester for tea and scones.

We could not have wished for better weather.

Sunday evening we went to the cinema for the preview showing of the film The Edge Of Love about Dylan Thomas and we both really really enjoyed this film.

Which included a question and answer session live by satellite with the director John Maybury.

We finished the evening off with a nice sauna and lots of girlie chat.

Then this morning I gave Anne a nice relaxing massage before we went for coffee at Savino’s and we both returned home.

So a great week-end ,thanks to Geoff once again, for making it possible 🙂

TheCOW.

Like a good girlfriend, I was up at 5am to make Geoff coffee and see him off on his 80 mile COW (Cambridge to Oxford ) Walk.image

He left at 6am in the rain and the first day proved to be a challenge, not only did it rain but it poured making for very wet walking conditions.

This resulted in a drive out to Wimpole hall for me, to deliver a few extra pairs of clean dry socks 🙂

Geoff then spent the first night, after walking 31 miles,in his tent which thankfully survived the storms and rain.

He is now more than haimagelf way and I am glad to report that he’s been having great weather.

So far TheCow has taken him through Biggleswade, The Flit Valley, Clopton, Flitwick , Woburn and Great Brickhill.

To his delight it included the whole of Flitwick Moor too.

So its proving to be a very scenic walk and one he  is hoping many people will want to do.image

As he plans to do a guide book for this walk.

Which is great news for me, as he will have to walk it a few more times, so I may just get a chance to go with him next time 🙂

After looking at these photos who would not want to do it ???

More photos can be seen here.
