Private lessons….

Due to the powers of the Internet and a comment I made on my Twitter last week, about how I hate not knowing how to use word and publisher….

I found myself at a friends house tonight getting a lesson on just howZA102146731033 to use those 2 programs.

I soon got the hang of it… and did remember a few things from many years ago.

It will certainly help me with my college homework and other things too.

Must be my age but I seem to love learning new things at the moment at one time I would never have been interested.

Many Thanks to Pete for reading my Blog and offering his help πŸ™‚

Gressenhall.

Today I was spoilt for choice , a 10 mile walk by the coast with the Kings Lynn Ramblers, or a 14 mile walk from Gressenhall with the Norwich group.Gressenhall 002

In the end it was all down to mileage and I took myself off to Gressenhall.

As usual there was a few familiar faces, which is always nice to see, most I had not seen since Geoff was last away.

So we had lots of catching up to do about walking/blogs and massage.

It was a great walk taking us through some lovely Norfolk countryside and villages..We had our lunch outside the church at Brisley in glorious sunshine, before Gressenhall 004 making our way back to Gressenhall village.

As usual its no good asking me the route as I was far too busy chatting to take it all in, so a big thank you must go to Richard (that’s the good looking one )for leading the walk and all the others for being  such good company.

Worth waiting for….

10m

Finally tonight after weeks of waiting the film Atonement started  in Kings Lynn.

So I took myself off to the cinema  with a box of tissues.

It was well worth the wait as I really enjoyed the film and it was a good job I took those tissues.

It has a brilliant ending !!!

If you have not already been to see it I can highly recommend it.

Following Geoff (day 18 )

Today’s walk took Geoff to Col de MadamΓ―ΒΏΒ½te the highest point on the GR10, (for Geoff )at 2509m. it started off a  glorious day  with incredible views to look forward to from the top BUT by the time he got there Visibility was down to 50m so no good views.

Tonight he is here…

in his tent at the end of the lake as Chalet Hotel de l’Oule was closed fot a private party .To make matters worse its raining too, when he rang I could hear the rain πŸ™ This will be a good test for his tent and I hope he stays warm and dry.

4 more walking days to go ( I think ) The blue line is how far he has to go…..

Following Geoff (days 15/16/17 )

Geoff is now well on his way to getting to his half way point at Bagneres-de-Luchon.

Day 15 saw him staying at Cauterets , where he hoped to get a massage but had no luck as they were fully booked.

But he did manage to get to an Internet cafe πŸ™‚

After a disturb sleep with people complaining about his snoring he was off on his way to Luz st saveur passing through the picture postcard village of Grust on his way.

Last night saw him in Bareges in a Gite built like a palace..he failed in his attempt to get a massage here too.
