After spending all morning wondering if I should return the call I had received from Radio Norfolk, I finally face
d my fears and returned their call.
Phil was out the office so I spoke to Nicky, much to my amazement as soon as I gave her my name she knew who I was straight away.
She was delighted that I had returned their call.
They do a slot on their radio show that’s about local women with interesting stories and they think I have a very interesting story to tell.
So I have a date for Wednesday 12th December at 12pm…. I just hope I don’t go making a fool of myself

Took myself off to Ixworth today for an 11 mile stroll with the Newmarket Ramblers.
Eight of us turned up in the pouring rain to do this walk, not sure if that makes us dedicated walkers or just plain and simply mad.
It was great to see my friend Tess again and Brian too who had driven all the way from the Cotswold’s.
Debbie did a great job of leading the walk and John was great company we found plenty to c
hat about.He gave me a great idea for another Christmas present for Geoff too.
The walk was a circular one from Ixworth going through Livermore.We stopped for lunch at the church in Great Livermore , the church porch provided much needed shelter from the rain.
After lunch the rain stopped and the skies cleared,so by the time we finished the walk we had all dried out.
Debbie, Tess, Brian John and I then went for tea and cake in the local cafe,where amongst other things we talked about my blog… I know they will be reading this but will they dare leave a comment 🙂
All in all a great day was had by all, even the rain could not spoil it.

The notebook is the name of the DVD I watched tonight.
It has to be one of the most beautiful romantic films I have ever seen.
Everyone should experience love like that at least once in their life……
The point that came across to me ( and one I already know) money and wealth mean nothing… love is everything…
AND yes I know it was only a film 🙂
If like me you hate shopping and use the Internet to do most of your Christmas shopping, I expect most of you will be using Amazon at some point.
Having just sent off two orders to Amazon it was reassuring to read that….
“1,000 employees will be working to ensure everyone gets there pressies delivered on time.
At least 800,000 gifts will get shipped from there main distribution centre in Milton Keynes and they will be delivering right up till Christmas eve .”
Personally I have always had super service from Amazon and very quick delivery too.
Another great on line shop is 7dayshop.com its brilliant for rechargeable batteries,
SD cards and memory sticks, take a look I am sure you wont be disappointed.
Then there is play.com fantastic for music and films, no delivery charge makes it even better value.
I know by using just these three sites that I save a lot of money hassle and time.
