Something to make you smile… again !

I read this over at The Pedalogue and just had to share it with you……

In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name. For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one.

Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of “cocktails”, “highballs” and just a good old-fashioned “stiff drink”. Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT&DO.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer’s research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

An exciting week-end ahead…

As most of you know Anne and I have been very good friends for a very long time.

We met while living at RAF St Athan in Wales, I left there in 1998 and have only seen her once in all this time maybe about 6 years ago.

I have been through some very hard times during this time and she has always been there for me, always at the end of the telephone or on-line to chat, a true friend.

This week-end we are meeting up in Cambridge to have a girlie week-end and I am so excited about seeing her.

Plans are to shop, eat, drink, watch a film, have a sauna, walk to the tea rooms at Grantchester and I will also treat her to a massage.

I have got kippers for her breakfast, and mussels for her dinner cooked in white wine and herbs served with fresh crusty bread.

It will be a great reunion …  and so very kind of Geoff to let me invite her to Cambridge 🙂

Skinning of the Pheasant

When Andrew had finished stroking the Pheasant I moved it to hang in th003e shed over night.

Then this morning I had a quick look on the Internet at how to skin a pheasant before I decided just to get on with it.

It was quite easy to do first remove head, legs , wings and tail ,then pierce the skin and roll it away from the pheasant body.

Worked very well but I did not like the 006strong smell and do wonder if I will enjoy eating it.

I got 2 good size breasts and  2 legs which are now in the freezer waiting for me to decide how to cook them….

Any suggestions ??????
