There seems to be an abundance of Plums this year.
So I am being given loads
We started with a Plum crumble
Now my freezer is full of Plums ready for Jam making, not that I really need any as I have a cupboard full from previous years, but I do so love making jam 🙂
This year I would also like to make some Plum Flapjack.

I don’t really understand your thought process with this? you could never fit a plum in a bottle? Impossible.
I would be interested to hear how you have done this?
Just a quick message to see if you have ever made plum wine or something similar?
never made plum wine…. but do make sloe gin so was wondering if you could make plum gin 🙂

when i returned to work today I was given another huge bag of plums …so the flapjacks will be made in the next day or so 🙂
A fellow plum picker! If you look at my post “A Plum Harvest” (http://workingmumonverge.blogspot.com/2011/07/plum-harvest.html), I’ve put some links to plum recipes at the Good Food website, including the plum flapjack one, but I add 100g extra oats and bake it in in 20 x 20cm tins to avoid the soggy middle. Happy plum cooking!

You could set up a still and distil them to make Slivovice!
