Despair !

My boys have fallen out , they wont even talk to each other 🙁

Andrew wont pick Matthew up from work so I am having to run back and forth into Kings Lynn most nights 🙁

I don’t know what to do to make it better 🙁

May be it will never get better 🙁

Advertising !

With help from a few people,

Nick for designing it for me,

Helen for helping me find a printer

Newprint and design for printing them 🙂

I finally have 200 flyers to do a leaflet drop

All I have to do now is pick the houses.

I may start at RAF Marham, with all the talk about Closing RAF Marham, they could well be in need of a massage 🙂

If anyone would like to display a leaflet for me, please feel free to get in touch.

Delia’s Christmas cake

As I received Delia’s Christmas book as a gift from Geoff last year, I decided this year I would make her classic Christmas cake.

For a change I also wanted to make a square cake instead of a round one.

So yesterday my house had the most wonderful Christmas smell all afternoon.

The cake is all wrapped up now and will be fed brandy every week till I Ice it.

Lets hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Tell Me On a Sunday

Many Many months ago I booked tickets to go and see the Andrew Lloyd Webber Musical, Tell Me on a Sunday starring Claire Sweeney.

It was showing at the Corn Exchange in Kings Lynn for one night only and tickets soon sold out.

It was slightly different to what I expected but that did not stop me from really enjoying it.

Tell Me on a Sunday , tells the romantic misadventures of a young English girl in new york, seeking success and love.

I had not realized that it was a one act song cycle but Claire Sweeny was excellent and the story was easy to follow and funny in places

A very enjoyable evening 🙂

Autumn Walking

I spent this weekend at Holmbury St Mary YHA with the Cambridge Rambling Club

It was described as the perfect woodland escape in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, ideally suited as a base to explore the Surrey Hills or walk the North Downs Way.

A lot to live up too, but I was not disappointed !

We had a 17 mile walk on Saturday taking in Holmbury Hill , Leith Hill and some of the beautiful North Downs Way.

Leith Hill is the highest point in south east England and was featured in this weeks countryfile 🙂

We even managed a trip up Leith tower, where on a good clear day you can see 14 different counties.

Sunday was a 13 mile walk up Box Hill a well known beauty spot in the North Downs, famous for its mention in Jane Austins novel Emma.

We had fantastic weather and I came home feeling like I had been away for a week, the walking was the best I have done since my weekend on The Thames Path with Geoff.

Autumn is certainly a great time to visit this beautiful part of England and I took many many beautiful Autumn Photos
