In 1997 I did my first Race for life, it was a small affair compared to today’s events.
Since then I have dipped in and out of them, 2004 being the last time I did one.
For some unknown reason I have decided to enter it again this year.
Maybe its just to prove to myself that I can still do it or maybe I just want a little challenge
At the moment there will be three of us doing it, in Cambridge on 4th July.
Of course I will want to run it as fast as I can.
I would like to think I could do it in 30 mins but in reality it will be more like 35mins.

Yes, I’d like that, particularly if I can have a little medicinal and reviving tipple at the end of it.
I am seriously thinking about getting one of those wrist things too. They look excellent.

I shall think about running too. Maybe a bit of competition will get you that time you desire!!! I am very competitive too so we’ll probably do it in 25 mins!!!
I’d do it in an hour and fifty then, if I was lucky.

Geoff…. now thats the kind of challenge I like some thing to make me push myself to within inches of death 🙂
Maybe I will give £50 minus £5 a minute for every minute over 30mins 🙂
