Alcoholic Raspberries

Tonight I strained and Bottled my Raspberry Gin and Voda.

I has forgotten which was which but thanks to old blog posts I soon worked it out 🙂

I collected the nice small bottles from The Orchard Tea rooms in Grantchester.

They are the perfect size to give as gifts.

Not sure what to do with the alcohol soaked Raspberries.

Maybe they would make a great trifle for Christmas so i have put them into the freezer for now.

Oh those alcohol raspberries just look so inviting.

Not sure I should be thinking that before 6pm but hey, it is Friday.

Nice bottles – and what’s in them is even nicer I am sure!!!

The booze is a lovely colour. Making a trifle out of the raspberries sounds like a good idea.

You know alcohol needs a lower temperature than water to freeze, so you may find the raspberries don’t freeze properly. It depends on how much ethanol (alcohol) is in them, really. (I keep my vodka in the freezer, where it stays liquid.) Still, I’m sure the raspberries are very well preserved already!
