Today I got an unusual gift…..
I have never prepared a pheasant before so should be an experience.
The plan is to remove the head, legs, tail and wings then skin it. This I am told is much better than trying to pluck it.
I will then take off the two breasts and freeze them for roasting at another time.
Its a messy job so I am told but not that hard to do……… but we shall see tomorrow !!
