Matthew returned to school yesterday after his very bad dose of Chickenpox.

Andrew was complaining of feeling unwell with a fever….today he is covered in SPOTS.

Glad to say it looks like a case of chickenpox and not shingles.

Lets hope I avoid catching it 🙂

Down by the river.

A few glasses of wine.

Then splash…. in the river for a swim.

Not for long as I can tell you it was freezing cold.

I was numb when I got out, with only a coat and warmth from a BBQ to keep us warm.

At the week-end we headed off down to the river,to meet up with Caroline and Ray, taking a picnic with us.

Still far too cold to be swimming in the river, but I did get onto the river in Ray’s  canoe.

My virgin voyage, lessons are to follow , so I have been told.

while on the river we saw a Mink and got very very close to a Kingfisher too.
