Many people, have often told me that I have a great story to tell.

Last week Geoff bought this to my attention….

Have you discovered an unexpected benefit from walking? A glossy
magazine is looking for women between 38 and 55 who have, to appear in
an upcoming feature.
Your experiences could include the inspiration to write a novel or set
up a business, a great friendship, a treasure trove, or love, but must
have happened this century (2000-2009).
If you can help, please contact us at
life_change at go4awalk.com by 12th
March, 2009 with a brief outline and a photo if possible.”

In a moment of madness last week I wrote to them.

Now the magazine concerned has replied wanting to know more about me, which leaves me wondering what I have let myself in for now.go4awalk

Not wanting to give too much away .. but the magazine has a mission…

“To champion grown up women and enrich their lives.
encourages women to make the most of themselves in every aspect of their life
.”
BTW  Go4awalk.com is a great walking website  🙂

Made for each other…

I don’t drink much alcohol and hardly ever drink on my own, only really enjoying a drink with friends or when out for a meal.cup 001

What I do enjoy is a lovely pot of Assam tea , made with tea leaves, not tea bags.

I have a nice Bodum tea pot just for my favourite brew.

The only thing that could make my tea taste better is by serving it in a nice china mug.

Now, thanks to Geoff I have the perfect china ,white, mug made by Denby.

Some how this makes my Assam tea taste even better 🙂

What kind of happy are you…

Been a while since i did one of these… and the results are so me.

You Are Affectionate

Your life is full of love and friendship – and you always have more to give.
You have an open heart. You are willing to take that leap and put your faith in people.

You see the good in everyone and everything. You are a very sympathetic person.
The people you love make you very happy. You feel warmly toward those around you.

What Kind of Happy Are You?

Sunday 1st March..

Todays walk was 14 miles from waterbeach making it a total of 115 miles walked so far this year.

Here are the photos from the walk, which took us to Anglesey Abbey and back through lode… it was a cloudy day but you can tell spring is almost here.

Two Books to Read…

Its not often I come to Cambridge during the week.

The reason I returned today was not to play on the wi-fit but because Quentin and Rose had invited us to the book launch of Rose’s second book.

The books are historical mystery adventures about Mary finch, set in 1795 and 1797.

The Counterfeit Guest by Rose Melikan follows Mary Finch on her second adventure, her first adventure was in the Blackstone Key.

We really enjoyed the evening and I came back with a great desire to read these books.
