Today Geoff and I had an invitation to attend the opening of the new Clarins skin spa.
The spa is attached to John Lewis in Cambridge.
We were the first to arrive for the grand tour and was offered fruit juice and Danish pastry on arrival.
After a short introduction we were shown around the Body massage room, Facial room and Nail / Pedicure rooms too.
Each room has its own shower big enough to hold at least 4 people .
They gave a short demonstration and talk on each treatment, which made them all sound fantastic.
Then it was back downstairs for an easy fun quiz where one lucky person from the day would win four hundred pounds worth of treatments.
The opening offer was all treatments at half price…. how could we resist.
Geoff booked a Muscle Ease Body Massage, while I was very torn but decided on a Youth Booster Facial as it looked and sounded so good and I have never had a Facial before.
We left with complimentary goodie bags consisting of Relaxing bath and shower concentrate with the Relaxing body balm too and the same in toning.
I picked up a great tip too… they warm the oil they use for body massage, so I am going to get myself a baby bottle warmer and try it too .

I now have my lovely new Red glasses, and its brilliant being able to read again 🙂
I can now start to enjoy reading again, so got myself a new reading book to celebrate.
Its by Cecelia Ahern an author I have wanted to try for a while, its called PS I love you and will be quite a change from my recent thriller books.
The only complaint I have about my glasses is the huge case they came in.. far too big for any handbag.
So added to my Christmas list is a Radley Glass case, which would match my Radley bag 🙂

While at the strawberry fair in Cambridge today,we treated ourselves to a half hour Indian Head massage.
It was so nice and very relaxing… I could have laid there all day !!
Many thanks to Jackie for making it a great experience and to Geoff for the lovely treat.
I may just do that Indian Head massage course at college next…. 🙂
