Today was the official opening of the Jesus Green outdoor pool in Cambridge.

100 yards long, 15 yards wide, depths of 1.2m – 2.5m – 1.2m
A few brave souls turned out on this cold damp day, to christen the pool,
The water temperature was 12 deg
Who was first in ???

I was directed over this way by james at “nourishing obscurity”. I have enjoyed having a poke around and looking at your photographs. I believe I shall return for tales of your further adventures.
It really is a great pool, but I’ll wait till its warmer.
I remember when we always used to swim in the sea at easter. Ah, but we were young and foolish then …
