Xian

After 16 hours on a train from Datong to Xian I did not feel at my best ๐Ÿ™

Luckily after a few migraine tablets and lots of water I was feeling much better.

I soon fell in love with Xian especially the busy street markets.

The food we had from the street vendors was some of the best food this holiday .

I loved bargaining with the people on the Market in the Muslim Quarter

Managing to haggle the price down by at least 75% on most things I bought.

We also visited the drum and bell towers.

All this on the day we arrived ๐Ÿ™‚

Think I shall enjoy our 4 day stay here.

Especially as we still have the visit to the army to look forward too aswell as the cable car trip up Mt Huashan.

Pleased you recovered from your migraine ๐Ÿ™‚ .. Very brave eating off the street vendors stalls , …. not a thing to be done lightly … mind you , could say the same about some of the restaurants in the UK ..

At least with the street vendors most of the food is cooked in front of you so any germs should be killed ๐Ÿ™‚ I think you just have to choose carefully and hope for the best
