Shouldham Warren

walk 019

Today I met up with the legstretcher  Group.

They are part of the Ramblers Association.

They meet up once a month and do a longer walk than normal Rambler groups, because of this it is usually a smaller group of walkers

Today 10 of us met up at Shouldham Warren car park for an 18 mile walk around that area.

It was a vwalk 022ery sunny warm day making it just perfect for walking by the river.

We did a stretch a long the Nar valley way that I had not done before and we stopped to eat our lunch outside the Ruins of Pentney Abbey.

A great day and many thanks to Mark for leading the walk.

Now I wont feel guilty when I eat the Apple and Blackberry crumble I just made

Sally, there is no way I could have done 18 miles, but what a fantastic route, it must have been very beautiful.

I always seem to miss you when I call you, I hope you got the two messages I left on your voicemail over the weekend re our walk on Wednesday. I’m really looking forward to it and catching up with all your news, and Geoff’s too.

I had my new computer set up over the weekend, but lots of settings are missing. I can’t access Twitter, I don’t have Windows Live Writer and have tried unsuccessfully to download it. I have no access to Admin on WordPress, so this means I cannot write new posts, it is very frustrating.

Also, although I can receive emails, I cannot send any, so I am in limbo at the moment, trying to sort out these difficulties.

My toes are sore after my walk on Saturday, and I wore two pairs of socks. I don’t know if it is because they are cheap boots.
