The First of many….(I hope)

Today I had my first paying massage client.

He booked in last week but I had to postpone him because of Matthew having Chickenpox.

I was delighted when he then arranged to come this week.images

To celebrate I went and got some Almond massage oil, its more expensive than the oil I have been using and I did wonder if I would be able to tell the difference.

It was worth the extra money as it was a gorgeous oil to work with and I shall be using it from now on.

My client enjoyed his massage and will book again.

It was a great feeling to get paid for something I enjoy doing so much.

…….. at Tesco I would have had to work for 3 hours to earn the same money.

Wild Camping…..

Not many of my readers will be into wild camping, but if you are a walker you might be interested to know that there is a petition to legalise wild camping……

"Currently without the landowners consent it is illegal to wild camp on the moors, mountains, National Parks and MOD land. It is time to give people the same rights as those given North of the Border in Scotland to allow them to wild camp in these places without threat of legal action."

Deadline to sign up by: 24 May 2008 – Signatures: 717 so far…..

Another Pressie…..

Yesterday on my return from Cambridge, I had a parcel waiting for me from blog 022my friend Anne.

It was a Williams pull string bag…… just perfect for my days down by the River Cam or walks along the river into Grantchester to the Orchard tea rooms.

Its good to have nice friends…   :-)

Thanks Anne and hope your feeling better soon x

They do care…….

Arrived home today to be greeted with a really really nice Mothers day card fromblog 020 my boys.

They always pick nice cards but the words on this one are extra nice.

I also got a nice practical gift one for all of us….

The DVD the Long Way Down with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.

When it was on TV they had remembered how upset I was when I could not get our DVD player to record.

I enjoyed their other DVD the Long Way Round so I am sure I will enjoy this one too.
