A walk down memory lane

I really wanted to be here  or here today, but diesel is expensive its getting closer to Christmas and I will have a fuel bill to pay soon,so I decided to be sensible and stay home 🙁

The forecast was for good weather today so I planned a walk from RAF Marham, it was a route that I used to cycle/run when I lived there, interestingly not all of it is marked on open street map.

Not much has changed over the years, although I see Pentney Priory is now being restored by The English Heritage so no nice views of the Priory today !

I found a lovely sunny spot by the river Nar where I enjoyed my coffee, I then decided not to walk back by Shouldham Warren but to enjoy the River walk back to Marham fen.

Once back at RAF Marham I could not resist having a look at what was our house, I wanted to see if the Honeysuckle, that my Dad had bought for me, was still there and although all the wire fences have been replaced by new wooden ones I could see the honeysuckle was still going strong 🙂

So almost a 10 mile walk in beautiful sunshine but I really did miss some company today.

Crikey you will soon be leading walks for CRC 🙂 maybe you should go back & ask for a cutting from the honeysuckle – they grow like weeds 🙂
