Struggling

Once again I find myself struggling with my weight 🙁

So I decided to have a complete change , out went all the Slimming world books and in came the Rosemary Conley books.

I first used a Rosemary Conley diet 21 years ago after giving Birth to Andrew, I had great results and kept the weight off by following her plan for many many years.

Amazingly you can find Rosemary Conley on Twitter and facebook

She even has her own blog and a tv channel.

So there is a lot of help and information out there 🙂

I am finding this much easier to follow as it does not take so much planning.

Nice recipes to cook at weekends and meals for one during the week.

3lb lost in the first week so a good incentive to carry on.

Another incentive is having a wedding to attend in Italy in June 🙂

Sally, you don’t need a diet beyond a normal restriction on saturates and processed food plus sweet things and alcohol. Your level of exercise and fitness should do the rest. 40-30-30 good carbs, protein and good fat [if you’re exercising]. Plenty of water.

Hi Sally, just wanted to let you know that the Phillippa Gregory novels are not heavy at all. They’re quite interesting plot-wise, some great sex in some of them, and good history incorporated into the storylines.

By the way, I lost weight using Jenny Craig – do you have her in England? I liked the food, but because there was a lot of soy in the meals, I stopped when I started to get bloaty. Now it’s a problem because DL tends to eat one big meal a day and late at night where I’m used to 5 or 6 tiny portions spread throughout the day. By the time the dinner’s ready, I’m already full from snacking so I don’t spasm from hunger. *sigh* Will have to work on that.

You and me both Sally. I keep getting part way there and then mess it up, I know exactly what I have to do but I just can’t make it happen.
