A Running Wednesday

As I don’t expect there to be any walking Wednesdays for a while, maybe months.

I have decided Wednesdays will become my running day.

Got off to a good start today with a 6 mile run and we shall see if I can build it up to 10 miles.

I did get a few surprises on my run today.

My track was completely flooded in more than one place and I don’t mean by just an inch or two of water πŸ™

Most sensible people would have turned back but not me.

So I ran most of the way with very wet feet πŸ™

Then I came across a herd of deer in the field next to me, but once they heard me puffing along they soon ran off.

It was a lovely sight though to see their white tails disappearing into the distance.

Also on a patch of road side I found at least 300 lovely snowdrops πŸ™‚

I shall enjoy my stretch at yoga tonight that’s for sure.

My running stats from my Garmin Forerunner can be seen below….. notice how many calories I burnt πŸ™‚

You go my girl! And read that post I put up a few days ago on physical activity and aging, then just sit and be bloody pleased with yourself.
Thank you so much for taking the time to go over to Power Room Graffiti to read my article. I appreciate the support.

When you are in a not good position and have got no money to move out from that point, you would need to receive the home loans. Just because that should help you definitely. I take car loan every single year and feel myself fine just because of that.

Well done. So lovely to run in the countryside too and actually see things.

I am off running at the moment. Well, I may try tonight with Julie as that is short and easy and we run slower if we are chatting. I think my body is fighting something off and I am just tired all the time and my legs ache just walking up the stairs. I probably should rest up but I find that hard to do as I love to run.

But I am rubbish at running in the daytime.

I will be so impressed if you work up to 10 miles. Maybe Helen will too. I won’t, that’s for sure. I like short runs. I think 10k would be my limit.

Sally, that’s impressive. What’s happened to your walking Wednesdays? I’m planning on a walking Sunday this weekend, weather permitting.
