DIY a Quickie and some Honey….

On Wednesday Geoff came down to my house for a day of DIY :-).

A while ago when the boys were going through a tough patch they used to like to punch each other and not for fun !!

Their bedroom doors often got in the way so had many holes punched through them.

Things have settled now and I thought it was safe to have their doors honeyreplaced, so Geoff came to the rescue and saved me some money by fitting them for me…

The verdict is…. I don’t hear their TV’s and games quite so much so a more peaceful house.

We then went for a quick walk , which turned into a 13 mile walk done in 4 hours , first time my legs have ached for ages.

While walking out my village we came across a house selling honey.

Ebenezer’s Honey , pure Norfolk honey from Gayton 2008…. made by Paul- Powter- Robinson….   maybe the best thing I have found in Gayton  πŸ™‚

Maybe that is the way to go with honey over here, buying it from the man with the bees, I almost fell over from shock when I took notice of how expensive honey in the supermarket is, and that was the cheap brand as well.

I love the different tastes of local honey. You can’t beat it on hot toasted crumpets. Beats that sugary tasting super market variety any day πŸ™‚
